| NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Mkinkomo reservoir sited on the Lusushwana river at Matsapha in Swaziland provides water via a canal to two hydro-electric power stations downstream. Due to major siltation of the reservoir generating capacity was being reduced. Consequently, a contract was let by the Eswatini Electricity Company to make a determination of the level of siltation and to make recommendations on the method of siltation and possible sites to be reclaimed. |
