| NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The project is the upgrading of a 220m gravel road to a surfaced road as well as the reconstruction of a 60m surfaced road section. Roadworks comprised of the removal of the existing asphalt surfacing (where necessary), cut to spoil of approximately 100m³ of existing material and replacing it with a 150mm in-situ selected layer, 150mm cement stabilized sub-base layer, 150mm crushed stone and a 30mm continuously graded asphalt layer, together with kerbs on one side and concrete open drain on the other. | |||||||
